Harpo's FC harbors professional ambitions

Boulder, Colorado (December 13, 2016) - After completing our due diligence, speaking with existing clubs, securing feedback from potential investors and garnering opinions from our coaches, squad and supporters, we have decided to respectfully decline the offers to join the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) and the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) for the 2017 season. As our meetings and discussions have been congenial and positive, we have agreed to keep the doors ope...n to join in the future.

Harpo’s FC will remain in the Colorado Amateur Soccer League(CASL) under the United States Specialty Sports Association
(USSSA) banner for 2017. This will enable us to compete in spring league, State Cup, Fred Ammer Vail Invitational, prestigious summer friendlies, fall league, national tournaments and the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. It will also empower us to build upon the strong foundation and passionate culture that we already have in place.

We have some extremely exciting opportunities on the horizon and big news will follow in the weeks and months ahead. Our ethos is "Brothers, Character, Excellence" and we pride ourselves on striving to attain the highest standards of quality on and off the pitch. Our ambition is to become the best run professional soccer organization in the country.

The U.S. Soccer pyramid is in a state of transition again. We patiently await the winds of change to sweep through and once the dust settles we'll be strategically evaluating the most viable professional leagues for our future. The potential for grassroots clubs like ours to build and to deliver a superior community-focused experience is more realistic than ever before and we yearn for the proper time and stage to make it happen. We look forward to continuing our successful evolution together. We are always moving onwards and upwards! #bullshitpubteam #liveyourdreams
